In the black hole that is the Vega Baja a 2.4 metre dish will usually give a full 24/7 service for all UK channels. British TV viewers in Spain are the only ones that need such big dishes. Other western European and Scandinavian nationalities can view their home country’s TV on 1 metre dishes.

Fortunately, a more than adequate level of reception can be achieved on a 1.9 metre dish. Trying to use anything less in the map’s blue shaded area is fraught with difficulty but with the new FAMAVAL & PORTUGUESE classed as 1.4 but slightly smaller. We can still get you Channel4+1 E4 More 4 ITV 1234 BBC 1+2 with a Freesat card you can get channel  4 and channel 5. You do lose some signal strength on the channel 4+1 E4 More4 but you should still get  ITV1 BBC1+2 if anyone tells you different they are misleading you.

Should you share the installation costs with a neighbour this could be a very good option where apartment blocks, bungalows, townhouses, and semis are prime candidates for a sharing one of our 1.4 offset or Prime Focus 1.5 1.9m or 2.4m dishes.
